Block Analyst

Block Analyst is a project with software for manipulating 3D voxel attributes (blocks). It is created by the PCRaster Research and Development Team, and is financed by TNO.

Block Analyst contains the blockpy Python package for manipulating 3D voxel attributes from Python. Installation packages can be downloaded from the Block Analyst download page at Sourceforge. The manual for the most recent version of BlockAnalyst is also available online.

Goal of the project is to do initial work on creating a more general 'block algebra' Python package. A use-case was defined and the current software is able to support the use-case and does not do much else (the use-case is copied verbatim in the manual).
